Yeah, I'm pretty sure somebody somewhere put a curse on Season Two. I lost a notebook full of notes, gone through several power outages without having saved first, constantly shifting work schedule, and most recently suffered a brain hemorrhage that's made staring at a computer screen for more than half an hour extremely painful.
All the same, I'm super proud of where things are going in season two. Every episode seems to be deviating further and further from the original plan and every change feels like it's been for the better.
AC, I'm so glad you're enjoying the show. I couldn't have hoped more a more enthusiastic response.
Vince's meant to be a bit of a bastard so I'm glad you feel that way. I never really understood the Justin hate either. I honestly believe the family would have been much better off if they'd listened to him and just stayed home. I think he ended up winning a lot of people over by the end of the season though.
Season Two is coming soon. Promise.

Alrightie, I just finished Episode Three and things are looking just as good as last episode (well, not for the characters, lol, but you get the point) and it still is as addictive. Justin's storyline, I think, is still the one I'm following with most interest. He's running into new trouble all the time and besides that, I think he's so far my favorite of the three brothers. I'm not too fond of Karl and I think, like someone's mentioned before, he's an all-out idiot. He's just not my kind of character, I guess. I quite like Mark, because he seems very responsible and... well, not an all-out idiot like Karl. xD
So yeah, things are still as good as always and at the end of it, you just want to continue with the next immediately. 10/10 again.

Just finished episode four and the show is just as good as always. The characters are all, to me, very interesting and I personally think that makes up for the lack of Zombie action at the present moment. Poor Justin's story still strikes my attention the most and I actually think I'm warming up to Karl. Maybe he's not THAT much of an idiot, after all. Tanya, I think, is a brilliant character. I'm pretty positive she's a fully villainous character and... well, I'm loving her so far! And you gotta love Helen Walker, tending to and taking care of everyone the way she does. Can you imagine it is another 10/10? (Yeah, I really love this show xD)

Yeah, Karl has his moments. When I first came up with the "marijuana heist" plot line I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Once I actually started to write it I realized it really wasn't a smart thing at all. But I think it makes for some good tension throughout the season between him and Vince so I decided to keep it and say that Karl's sort of impulsive and doesn't think things through then gradually evolve him into something better.
I think Tanya was probably one of my favorite characters. I didn't really know where she was going when I first started writing her but things just sort of happened out of nowhere. I'd say she's probably the most complicated character in the series. Glad you like her.

Just finished "Fallout" and I have to say, this show is just getting better and better. While previous episodes did a great job with building up the characters, this episode stuff really started to happen, Zombie-wise. I love how almost every party in the episode got something Zombie-related to do. 10/10. My favorite episode so far, I think.

Awesome. "Fallout" still holds the title for my favorite episode to write and totally inspired the tone of season two. The thing about most of the season is that the "Zombie Plague" still hadn't fully reached where our characters are for the most part. That made it hard to justify having Zombies just show up everywhere.
At this point our characters are all in the thick of it and now, with he traffic jam, nobody's safe and anyone can go at any time.

Wow. I have just finished the penultimate episode of the season and I am beyond words. If last episode was my favorite... I don't know what the hell this was. Things flow on incredibly here and I think you've mixed Zombie moments perfectly with character moments. I'm continuing to love Tanya and like you said, she seems to be a very complex character. I think I can definitely vote her my favorite character. My second favorite character at this point, and you're not gonna believe this... just might be Vince. You managed to turn a character I hated with a passion into a character I'm really starting to enjoy a lot. I applaud you for that, cause usually, when I hate a character that isn't bound to change. And poor Amy... I really hope she makes it somehow. I believe someone spoke about immunity to the infection; that would be cool.
10/10. This was without doubt the best episode so far... though I'm pretty positive I'll be saying that about the season finale, coming up.

I really have nothing new to say, other than how incredibly well-written/thought-up/pulled off Horace's and his wife's deaths were. The way Mark just had to leave them there to get eaten... just awful, in a good way storytelling-wise. Same thing with Collins, an emotional death for a character that's been there fairly briefly. One more thing... NOOOOO!! IT ENDED!! Sorry... when Karl was walking out of there, I had no idea I was on the last page (I usually see on every page before I get to it) until the thick, black text "The End" popped up. I can't wait to find out what's gonna happen to everyone, Justin especially, with Karl coming close behind (I'm counting out the characters that are "safe" at the moment). 10/10. Seriously awesome series you've got here! Bring on Season Two.
