Wow. Really enjoyed The Orb. It was nice to see a glimpse into Milly’s past. Not sure how well I buy into that decision having only known Lenny for one day as it doesn’t seem like something people do. Him asking her for money also made me shiver a bit. I didn’t like that. Set me on edge with the character. Like I couldn’t trust him. That said – I did kinda like the whole “embarking on an adventure” angle.
We’re still slowly getting there with the chip. Slowly and steadily and it was quite exciting to see what the future holds. Really enjoyed it. Nice read.

Hello Aaron! In a way, Amelia and Lennie was very much inspired by Romeo & Juliet. Not the plot surround them, but the idea that these two young people could just fall so deeply for each other after only one meeting. I think we're so used to Amelia being an old lady, that it becomes odd seeing her as a young woman throwing herself into something without thinking it through properly. That they stayed together until Lennie's death should show that she made the right call You're getting closer and closer to the huge reveal of what the chip is and where it came from. First though, Seb has to try and work out where that blue star is...

As always, The Friend was an easy and addictive read. It’s interesting to see Sebastian be like this. Somewhat of a desperate episode – highlighting, what? Determination? Desperation? To be that willing to sacrifice his only real friend. Does the chip really mean that much to him now? Very well written as usual. It all flowed nicely. Nearly finished S1.

I think, after what happened with Nareena, Seb really is on a focused mission to find out what the heck this chip is about. Gotta remember, this episode is still not far removed from the events of The Loss, so the events of that episode are still very raw for Seb. Not that any of that justifies some of his behaviour in this episode mind you.
Glad you enjoyed, particularly as I love this episode. Probably my personal favourite of Adam's contributions to the show.

And that’s it! The finale of S1 of Haven. So...we’ve opened up another mystery. I’m assuming this chip is somehow linked to The Dark. But how?! How?! Tell me! Can’t say I had any issues with this episode. It was pretty standard fare in terms of being a well written story.
Bit more focused on the story and action than your typical episode. Don’t get me wrong, obviously still had pretty important character implications for the future.
I had thought it’d end on a blatant of cliff-hanger but we’re left with lots of new loose ends. Hope to see them come to a close!
