i was briefly a member of the writing staff for a virtual Trek series about 5 years ago, called "Star's Landing", I remember Knight's Haven being developed back then, surprised it's only now finishing it's first season! Downloaded the first half vDVD, looking forward to reading it!

We actually aired the whole season 2006 through 2007, but for various reasons the show didn't continue past that. What you've downloaded now are much newer versions of those episodes, which have been specially re-edited and such for release over the past year.
Mostly the same team as back in the day are producing this too. It's a real passion project for us, and even if it takes us ANOTHER eight years, we'll get this show done!

For your sake I hope it doesn't take another eight years!

I'm thinking I might drag this baby out for as long as I can...want to set a VS record

Why don't you set a good record like... most episodes released in one year? Most characters killed on one page? Most times the word 'frak' has been used in a script?

I think we might have the most deaths in one page covered in a season two episode, now that you mention it...

WOW! read the premiere, LOVED IT, especially with keeping Sam Witwer in image as Sebastian Knight, that helped! I really enjoyed the story, loved how it was 'Trek' without being directly 'Trek', and how Sebastian is one of the 'little guys' in Starfleet, painting on the name of the Enterprise. Kyle, you ever watched "Red Dwarf" because that image of him being on the hull in space suit painting the hull was definately evocative of RD

I downloaded the first part of season one. I'm going to give this a try and see what I can get into. I like the Star Trek franchise but I tend to lean towards Star Wars more but I remember growing up with the original and I'm going to check this out. I will let you know as I go what I think.

Glad to have you onboard, Andrew! The show is performing quite well with non-Trek fans, so hopefully you'll enjoy. It's not exactly strictly Trek in style, so I think you'll be fine with it!
Alex, thanks for the kind comments. I was initially against casting any of these characters, but good God, Sam Witwer IS Sebastian isn't he?! I'll admit to having see maybe one episode of Red Dwarf in all my life, so can't claim to have used it as inspiration...I guess I'll have to watch it one day, if I want to keep my street cred as a proper sci-fi fan! Look forward to your comments on future episodes, and don't forget to vote in the TEN Awards by next Wednesday!
