Thanks for reading, Trix, and I'm glad you liked it! I wanted to write a story where the reader can see just why Carol works for SHIELD and give some actual depth to her character so I'm glad you think I pulled it off! As for Deadpool, there has been discussion about his own Origins series but he can be a bitch to write because I'm never sure how often he should lean on the fourth wall or how OTT he should be... It's a tough balance, especially considering I've only ever read one Deadpool graphic novel! He could appear in the future, Carol's still on the hunt for him so who knows! I completely agree about the complications of bringing Deadpool into the main focus given how OTT the character is. It's tough to balance his nature while telling a serious story. I hope he'll be back further down the line in some capacity but there are plenty of other characters to enjoy!

Well I hope you enjoy them in that case! Does this mean you have plans to approach X-Men: Rebirth as well?

Indeed I do. What's the best reading order for all of this?

Probably as it aired - the first two volumes of Rebirth, then the first two volumes of this, V3 of Rebirth and then V3 of this which is a bit spoilery for V3 of Rebirth.

WOW!! Just read the Emma Frost origin, and it was GREAT to finally see someone handle her character well for once! With the joint disappointments that were Wolverine and First Class, both good films, but both badly handled the character of Emma in my view. I've been a huge Emma fan for years, and this whole series of short pieces felt like they truly handled the character well! 5 out of 5!

Hey Alex! I can't tell you how utterly pleased I am you enjoyed the Emma Frost Origins. I felt the same way about both films, and when Tom invited me onto the Rebirth staff and I got a chance to flesh her out in the TEN Marvel-verse, I had a ball! That mix of bad and good, victor and victim, snark and sadness is a key part of her character, and I've loved taking point on her development. If you haven't read Rebirth yet, I'd give it a read, as I got the chance to really dig into her story in Rebirth 1x09 and 3x06. Would love to hear your thoughts on those eps! (If if you have reviewed, my apologies for forgetting, and thank you. )

So, no reads for Origins: X-Men? That's a shame, as we loved writing 'em!
With the show hanging in the balance, read and review to show some support for the TEN Marvelverse to make sure it stays alive! We want to keep writing it, but only if y'all want to keep reading it!
