Home Sweet Home -- 1x08Seriously?! That's the ending. Just kidding. I think that is quite priceless. The scene. The army and others standing back (parting the way) for Karl to walk through, knife in hand and ready to kick some butt. My question is, does that mean that Amy is still alive and that she has some rare chemicals inside her body that fights the infection (I Am Legend) and the journey will be now to get her back to CF so they can beat it once and for all It was a pretty good Season Finale, and now all I have to say is...Where the heck is Season 2? Your writing is quite smooth in the dialogue area and that is cool. As far as "Horace and his wife" I saw that coming But I started to think that someone else was going to go their same direction 8/10Season One Rating: 9/10

Episode 1x06 - "Fallout"
Yeah, Pitt's death was kinda weird. I kinda disliked the character for most of the season but, I think it was in episode five that I really started to dig him and suddenly writing his death was very hard.
Initially Karl and Tanya were going to be the only ones who survived the "Gas Station Shootout" but I ended up coming up with this whole Vince and Tanya storyline for season two. Not sure why I decided to keep Ben alive. Really having a tough time finding meaningful stuff for him to do.
Episode 1x07 - "Alternate Routes"
I don't want to give too much away but I don't think I'll ever introduce a vaccine into the series. I think once you do that then the Zombies become far less of a threat. Who knows though, maybe a few seasons down the line and I come up with a to make it work that I like.
I think Tanya just kind of assumed there was no way anyone was going to survive the gas station. Karl implied quite awhile ago (episode 2 I believe) that he thought Tanya only helped him, Pitt, and Ben escape the campus was because she wanted the drugs and money for herself. Turns out he was right.
Episode 1x08 - "Home, Sweet Home"
I think Karl's motivation comes from what Amy said to him the last time they spoke. Something along the lines of being a Zombie is a fate worse than death. That and he's lost both his best friend and the love of his life a matter of hours. He's probly not thinking too clearly.

I can honestly say that I didn't know that I was going to read this show, but I kept seeing the banner under someone's signature on MZP and I was really wondering what this show was about. I know that I'm glad that I started this, and I think it's my enjoyment of the "darker shows". I use to think that I was going to write a teen drama like One Tree Hill or Degrassi, but I started to go through a darker phase, and now it's about creating an experience where you show the suffering...and then you create the hero that defends them. I read something on here "Super Punk" not sure if it was you or Daniel, and it's stuff like that bring out the ... gotta do a "Kick Ass" type of VS. I'm excited for Season 2

Just wanted to drop by and say that I read the first half of the pilot a long time ago... and then I simply lost the series and have only now been able to locate it again. I remember what I read was amazing; the mixture of the two genres is done flawlessly and smoothly, like I'm sure someone else has mentioned here. So anyway, Me and a friend (who may or may not be about here somewhere) are working on a Convoy-based Zombie series... and I am SO glad that I have located this again, so that I can use it as inspiration (: *Goes to continue reading*

Awesome! I'm glad you like it. The show was originally on another network (VBC) and I think I posted the Pilot over at Simplyscripts.com before moving to TEN so that might be why you lost it. Either way I hope you continue to enjoy and I look forward to your comments.
I like the idea of a full blown Zombie convoy series. I always wanted to spend more time on the road in Caydem Falls but things sort of spun off in a different direction.

^Yeah, it's our idea to have it be a "roadtrip" type show, with each episode expanding on the character plot-arcs throughout while moving to a new place every week. I'm really excited over it... cause, really, with a Zombie series, there's so many things you can do with it, and we're hoping to take as many different spins as possible.
Anyway, YOUR Zombie series just accidentally captivated me. It was my intention to continue with episode two in the morning. I just wanted to check out the teaser... and now you've got me just having finished page 48 xD First thing I can say, really, is... DAMN! You've got some intense shit right here! Wow! Utterly amazing. The characters feel so real and the way it all flows, it's like I'm watching an actual tv series. Again, the mixture of two completely different genres is amazing. And the shocking factor is something you've done really well... I mean, Frank's death and the death of the man with the tie were so shocking and out of the blue; the latter especially. On the less "professional" side, I find Vince extremely annoying... he's just about everything I hate in people and I hope he gets his guts painfully ripped out by someone or something in a foreseeable future. xD I noticed several people disliked Justin, but I actually liked him. I mean, yes, his decision to leave for his girlfriend was rashed and stupid... but on the way, he DID stop to help a family out of their vehicle, didn't he? (<not an actual question, lol) To sum it up, I loved... no, I don't think that word does it, I think you've got a FANTASTIC series right here.
Though you should be aware, once I finish this first season (which I think will be pretty quick) I will be hating your guts. Cause then I'll have TWO Zombie series to restlessly await the second seasons of! xD
10/10. Wow.

Try waiting two years for season two like some of us have.

Yeah, Season One aired in 2009 and ended around this time. I'm sure that Season Two will be worth the wait though and I know from personal experience how long it can take to write a whole season so no hard feelings towards Dex!

Oh not at all. If anything, such a long break will ensure more thought and time is spent into making the series twice as good this new season.
