Yeah Biffy Clyro. The credits are fun, though not at all what I would produce if the show was ever made for real. Have known for years what my opening credits would look like if ever this was on TV Cheers for your thoughts on The Demon. Certainly a different sort of story for us, as we experiment with different styles as we head into Season Two

Just occurred to me...the vDVD contains the pdf's, you just need to transfer them from your PC to your kindle (drag and drop).

Hey, I figured out how to get them on my kindle. Apparently I just needed an unzipping file app!

Episode One “The Beginning”
I have to start off by saying that I’ve never been able to get more than a few minutes into any form of Star Trek apart from the recent reboot (which I liked) so I came into this with relatively low expectations. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised.
I like Sebastian right off the bat. He’s got an attitude and constant sarcasm but never comes off as a prick. That’s a tough balance to pull off but you did it well.
As I said I’ve never been able to get into Star Trek so that scene at the bar where you list off a bunch of different alien races without many descriptions didn’t really do much for me. Not a big deal but I couldn’t help but imagine the bar from Star Wars. Same goes for the first description of Haven. I just ended up with a picture of Serenity in my head.
Episode Two “The Storm”
Another solid episode. My only complaint would be the bit where Reem punches through the console and prevents Seb and Robyn from returning. Reem and Alun’s confrontation that led up to that seemed a little forced as if it only existed to cause the problem that eventually lead to the episode’s main crisis. I think it would have been better if the transporter didn’t work simply because the ship is in horrible condition (which is mentioned several times throughout the episode).
With that said, pretty much everything that happened on Grildera was gold. Good action, good character work (Sebastian is still pretty frickin' awesome), and can’t help but feel a little sorry for poor Robyn. Oh, and the descriptions of various aliens and technology seem to have improved so kudos for that.

Cheers for the comments, glad you enjoyed. I'm delighted that so many non-Trek fans have tried this show out over the past year! Sebastian is a dream to write, a real modern day lead character in my opinion. I'll concede your comment about sometimes dropping the ball with the description of aliens. I think it becomes better as the season progresses though. The Alun/Reem stuff was personally some of my favourite material I've written for this show, despite how unnecessary it might have seemed to you Wrote this a long time ago, but I think the fight idea actually existed in my head before I even had the right plot to fit it with! Hope you stick around, this whole season is a story I'm immensely proud of. Season finale will be releases before Christmas too, which wraps it up nice (or does it?!).

I haven't even finished the first episode l, but it is really good. Like Dex, I never really tot into Star Trek, except for the new.movie with Chris Pine. The story is really good, but I'm only on the part after Seb leaves Haven. I think that he should take Haven.
