CAST
Max Adler as Shane Olson: Shane was an athlete before the fall came, and that's helped him survive in the 'winner takes all' world of The City. Cocky, charming and perfectly alright with committing violence to stay safe, he's survived with ease. Shane's managed to build a life there with more withdrawn and artistic boyfriend Kellan, managing a small hunting practice that keeps him out of the crosshairs of the area's predators.
Darren Criss as Kellan Chase: Artistic, sensitive, and a bleeding heart. Kellan should not have survived the turbulent period before things settled down, and remains one of the weaker people in The City. That said, though Kellan couldn't fight off a zombie to save his life, he's a great people person, and his skills with words are as important to the business as Shane's killer aim.
Colton Haynes as Jakob: The handsome hunter strides into Shane and Kellan's lives one day, promising to double their yield with hunting secrets and superior skill in exchange for a place to sleep. Kellan is immediately suspicious of this stranger, who says all the right things to catch Shane's attention - both out in the field, and at home.
Lindsay Pearce as Tess Chase: Kellan's sister, who in the intervening years has also become a hunter... of another sort. While Shane and Kellan chase after wild game, Tess and their mother Stina take out 'subhumans' that have a price on their heads. She immediately bonds with Shane, sharing a lot of his interests and quirks. Tess' ultimate goal, regardless of her brother, is to convince Shane to join her in her mother's much more lucrative business. She enjoys the banter and macho culture of her mother's world, proving to those around her how strong she really is.
Carrie-Anne Moss as Stina Chase: Tess and Kellan's dark-humoured mother, who runs her crew with an easy laugh and an iron fist. A corporate 'analyst', Stina was unexpectedly the perfect person to have on hand at the onset of the crisis: she'd spent time in almost every country in the globe, manipulating political situations for her employers' benefit. Now, she takes on assignments to eliminate any 'subhumans' who are worth a penny in commission.
Naya Rivera as Alison Reyes: A young woman recruited by Stina to join the crew a year ago, she's constantly in competition with Tess to prove her skills. Sharp-tongued and sour in nature, she's got her sights on proving to Stina she's more valuable than Tess - and maybe squeezing her out of the crew entirely.
Marissa von Bleicken as Falon: The fourth member of Stina's crew is a subhuman herself: a vampire who quickly bonded with a human family, she's a handy resource for tacking by smell and accessing subhuman haunts. Quiet, contemplative, and fully aware that Stina would happily dump her body by the side of the road if another, more useful asset appeared.
