I'm mellower these days I'm in it for the enjoyment. Unless it's something in development, then I'll rip it apart for constructive purposes ;D

Finished up volume 1. I think both this and Blood Red Shoes have done really well in capitalising on the format. SAFE (which is a somewhat ironic acronym) has a feel comic book feel -- more Walking Dead than X-Men, obviously -- with each episode feeling like a brutal little vignette, a sneak peek into a larger more fucked up world. Right now, though, it feels sort of like an introduction. 6 episodes isn't many in the webisode format (and each episode is pretty short), so my taste buds have only been moderately whet so far. I hope you dig in deeper for the next volume, as you get more comfortable with the format and the series.
Overall though, I enjoyed it. Who doesn't like a bit of violence, swearing, and gratuitous nudity?

You know, I've long thought webisodes were somewhat analogous to comics. Ever since deciding that Darken would. Invert better to graphic novel than being filmed, I've wondered if webisodes are the VS version of comicss instead of filmed webseries. Something to ponder.

I think everyone interested in webisodes should play the Walking Dead game. The way it's structured is wonderful, with each episode providing difficult moral questions or painful decisions, and ending with a stonking cliffhager.

Glad you enjoyed, Vaughn. God knows I've feared your review these past 48 hours! Yep, lots of fucked up violence and swearing to be found here, with plenty more to come. Volume 2 goes off in a slightly different story direction, but will be just as brutal as this one was

If I had a complaint, it's that in some ways it didn't really feel very British. Maybe that's deliberate, I don't know, but I read this around the same time as Blood Red Shoes, and Li's Britishness shines through that. I would hazard a guess that you're more influenced by American television, which has seeped into your writing.

You're probably spot on with that assessment, I'm certainly more influenced by American television than I am British.

Remember that not everybody is influenced by or enjoys Doctor Who...
