1x02: "Corporate America" ReviewSo, I swear I've read this before, but...
POSITIVE
Page One: Oooh, bitch has a gun on Eddie. Oooh, and silver bullets! And she's some kinda hunter, by the looks of it!
Page Two: Eddie thinks he has to sign up on a website. XD
Page Three: Bitch went down fast!
Page Four: Chris just acts so sarcastic at the situation. It's funny. "How are you more popular with women than me?!" - I love that line!
Page Six/Seven: Oooh, mysterious scene with the Markman and a spazzed-up boy. I wonder what this is all about...
Page Nine: Oooh, CERN. they did a Torchwood Audio episode on that. Oh, sorry....
Page Eleven: "She finds nothing unusual, save some Spiderman boxer shorts." I LOL'ed.
Page Fourteen: Wow, bring dying kids into the subject and suddenly Chris snaps out of dork mode. If only that worked inr eal life. Wait, that sounded wrong...
Page Fifteen: Chris likes his pop culture references. Apparently, so do you, Dave.
Page Sixteen: Chris stands up for the male species. Go you, man.
Page Twenty-Four: Eddie's neck has been snapped? Jeex, I'm awake! Oh nope, he's alive again. Maybe we should explore this side further?
Page Twenty-Six: Poor Chris, the other two are super-powered or all that jazz, he must feel under pressure to perform here.
Page Twenty-Seven: "Well, this certainly is a big, round room." LOL
Page Thirty-One: Hmmm, mysterious. Mr. Keller is spying on all three...
Page Thirty-Five: Tess is awfully happy to leave Eddie. I laughed.
Page Thirty-Nine: Yay, more pop culture. Just don't overdo it!
Page Forty-Two: Some more mystery. i seriously thought Tess was leaving.. but now it seems she's teaming up with Keller. And she has the picture!
Page Forty-Three: Oooh, whose this demon?
NEGATIVE
Page Five: Chris does not go with sex references. Especially ones involving leather and Eddie. *shiver* And he played with handcuffs? Odd boy.
Page Nine: I don't buy that this Tess just walks in and see's that Chris is lonely. Not even I, as the the reader, saw that!
Page Ten: She's quick to trust Eddie... just a bit too quick, I'd say. she has no real proof Eddie's good. She was kidnapped by him, for god's sake!
Page Seventeen: I don't buy Tess breaking into this locked safe. Maybe a bit of explanation would have been nice.
Page Eighteen: A momentarily pause for some real drama. I don't think it's your strongest point, to be honest.
Page Nineteen: The WoW cover up was cringe worthy.
Page Twenty-One: We've had three episodes and suddenly Chris is a demon expert? I don't buy it. And I don't buy the book excuse. Shush.
Page Twenty-two: This Tess is one skanky ho and a heartless bitch. Think of the dead children!
Page Twenty-Three: For a demon hunter, Tess does seem tof reak out way more then Chris, who is inexperienced.
Page Twenty-Eight: Huge messup in Tess' name. I think proofing may have been missed here, that should have been picked up.
Page Thirty-Seven: Wow, the Gilner demon died fast.
Page Thirty-Eight: They let them go?!
Page Forty-One: As much as it's neceserry, I just don't really by the pure drama scenes for some reason. Try and work on them more.
TORN/OTHER
Page Two: Van Helsing? Hmmm, let's see how this plays out.
Page Eleven: A Class Ring? What's that? And ooh, Eddie's ex girlfriend?
Page Fifteen: Ah, so that previous scene in the alleyway is going somewhere....
Page Seventeen: Why does Chris want to know what's in Eddie's room? Hmm.
Page Nineteen: I'm not sure I like the asking questions to the reader. it kind of takes you out of the story.
Page Twenty-Six/Seven: Cutting to Erica and Madison suddenly slows everything down, and seems to detract from the story. Still, it advances their story. Get them doing something, please!
Page Thirty: Tess must feel out of place in such a futuristic area.
Page Thirty-Four: What's a "good damnit"?
Page Thirty-Nine: Bitch does NOT get to question ANH! And Chris isn't the ultimate SW geek. I am. I wish.
CONCLUSION
A mixed episode, and the Erica and Madison plotline was unnecessery, it feels like it's only there because you needed to use erica as she's a regular. It's a shame Tess seems to be teaming up with CyberIcon, I think she should have stuck with the gang. Continues the series' average run, but because some things just stuck out to me, this gets an average
